My Last Day

Welcome to my home page. As you may have already heard, February 12, 2008 was my last day with my former client, one of the largest Settlement companies in Northern Virginia. I know this came as a surprise to many of you. It was not a surprise to me. The company I was so closely identified with for the last five years, however, was not my employer but my client. As a client I owed them a duty of loyalty that prevented me from discussing what was happening, and continue to owe them duties that make it unlikely I will ever discuss all of the various reasons for my departure (certainly not in this forum). For now, let's chalk it up to philosophic differences with ownership.

I can tell you that I am very excited about the things I am working on for the future. I remain with my law firm through the end of this month and expect to have exciting news to share with everyone come March 1, 2008.
